Beef Stir Fry (Beef Sauce)

What you need to know about

Cut into small pieces 1/2 kg of beef

3/4 cup of my stir-fry sauce

Half a cup of water

Three green bell peppers roughly chopped

One large onion, sliced

Three carrots, thinly sliced (as thinly as possible without grating the carrots)

I used 2 tsp of my favorite spice mix. (I ground equal amounts of cumin, fennel seed, dried parsley, oregano, dried mint, dried thyme). Be sure to use at least two of my dried spice blends.

Use two tablespoons of vegetable oil

Heat oil in a pan over a low heat. Stir and add the spice mixture. Add the beef chunks. Stir the beef and let it simmer in its juices for 15-17 minutes, depending on how big your pieces are.

Stir fry sauce with water. Stir well, and then add the carrot. After cooking, add the green bell pepper and chopped onion until the carrot is softened. If the heat is too high, turn it down and cook for about 3 minutes until the green pepper and onion are soft. If it’s not enough, add salt. I did not add salt to the stir-fry sauce because it was already salty.

Serve my coconut rice or turmeric fried rice with this rice.
