Cantaloupe Juice with Ginger and Lime

Please choose the most mature cantaloupe that you can get to get his juice from the Food & Wine Test Kitchen. The fruit should be frozen before juicing so it will give flavor and body.


  • 2 cups chopped cantaloupe
  • 2 cups chopped pineapple
  • 2-inch piece of fresh ginger
  • 1/2 lime


  1. On a baking tray lined with parchment, place the pineapple and cantaloupe in a uniform layer. Chill until frozen to the point of being entirely for about 30 minutes.
  2. With an electronic juicer, use a juicer to juice the frozen fruit, adding lime and ginger. Serve it immediately.
